BAR31 Team Announces 2024 Plans

As the Australian Late Model Season is winding down, the BAR31 Team is full speed ahead for the 2024 Late Model Season in America – and there is a lot to be excited about.

We are eager to compete in the 2024 MARS Series, with a few World of Outlaws, Lucas Oil, Castrol FLO Night in America, and Summer National races sprinkled in. The 2024 season will be a build up to the goal of 2025, which is getting the first Australian to compete and complete in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

Another piece of big news for us, is the added assistance from hall of famer, Randy Korte. Randy will oversee the development of Kye Blight as a driver and assist tuning the chassis at the tracks when he has no clash with prior commitments. His expertise and experience are what we are thrilled to have at our disposal.

We have no shortage of assistance from the Aussie crew. Of course, this all centers around our driver, Kye Blight. Kye’s wife, Jaime and son, Huey, will be able to come to the states for a few of the races. Also returning will be Joe Chalmers, along with Wade and Jordan Cunningham, Brendan Newmarch, Cody Avins, Glynn McBeath, Graeme McSweeney, and of course, our fearless leaders, Paul and Alice Stubber.

This team has built a solid reputation for “work hard, race hard, and never stop smiling”. With a few toys and firecrackers to play with at the team headquarters in Indiana, the few off days in between races will be well spent turning the cars with a dip in the lake or a trip to Moore’s Bar.

Our schedule has been posted here – just click the “Tour” tab to see where we will be. We plan on spending a few “off weeks” with testing at different tracks.
