The BAR31 Team 2023 USA Tour Comes to an End

And just like that, our 2023 USA Tour has come to a close. The last couple of weeks we weren’t able to get the results that we wanted, but just to be here doing what we’re doing has been a huge learning experience and just a blast of fun. We were disappointed that we got rained out on Friday night at Tri City Speedway, and showed good speed early on Saturday night. We qualified 3rd in our group and finished 3rd in our heat race, but during the feature, we broke a bolt that held the lower 4 bar to the birdcage and we had our first DNF of the year, finishing in 18th place.

Looking back, it’s been a very busy season for us. Here are a few stats:

- We competed in 62 events
- We made 49 A main events
- We set overall fast time 9 different times
- 7 Top-5 finishes
- 18 Top-10 finishes

We won a few heat races but weren’t able to catch the checkered flag when it really counted. That gives us a big goal to shoot for in 2024.

Back in Greencastle, things are getting packed up and the team is getting ready to head home to Australia. We can’t thank our partners enough for all the support they gave us this summer. We are already making plans for 2024 and excited about the prospects. Until then, thanks to everyone who came to watch us race, stopped by to say hello, bought a t-shirt and basically just supported us in fulfilling our dream.
